The AIR ID Playback Starter Kit is a complete solution for solving complex log-on, sending user specific data to existing applications or embedded controllers. Since no software is deployed, it supports nearly every existing application regardless of the operating system. This kit is a plug/play solution for any system supporting USB, RS-232 or Wiegand ports.
The kit containing the USB Playback reader includes everything you need to begin using contactless cards for operating system or application log-on.
The kit containing the RS-232 Playback reader includes everything you need to begin using contactless cards for sending RS-232 characters from an iCLASS or Mifare card, directly to a device accepting RS-232 characters at 9600,N,8,1.
The kit containing the Wiegand Playback reader includes everything you need to begin using contactless cards for sending ASCII number to a Wiegand device or panel, from an iCLASS or Mifare card.
The iCLASS Kit includes an AIR ID Writer (choose either the desktop USB, RS-232 or the RS-232 based RW400 on a desktop stand ) and the AIR ID Card Manager Software.
The Mifare Kit includes an AIR ID Writer (choose either the desktop USB or RS-232) and the AIR ID Card Manager Software.
For Playback USB usage: This allows users to securely store entire username/password credentials and keystrokes on the contactless card/tag. The AIR ID Playback Reader (USB) reads the card/tag and delivered the key strokes and credentials to cursor location. All characters and key strokes (such as Ctrl-Alt-Del, TAB etc.) allowed. The system allows protection from displaying in un-authorized applications, lost/stoeln cards, and users writing down their passwords.
For Playback 232 usage: This allows users to securely store RS-232 characters on the contactless card/tag for subsequent playback. The AIR ID Playback Reader (RS-232) reads contactless card/tags and delivers the RS-232 characters at 9600,N,8,1.
For Playback Wiegand usage: This allows users to securely store RS-232 numerical data in ASCII on the contactless card/tags for subsequent playback. The AIR ID Playback Reader (Wiegand) reads contactless card/tags and delivers to the Wiegand data line (Data 0/ Data 1).
