pcProx®-Sonar attaches to the PC via the USB port and is configured by the system as a keyboard. When you step away from your computer, pcPROX sends keystrokes to the PC that engages self-locking mechanisms such as a screen saver or your single sign-on lock.
Likewise, when you approach your computer, pcProx sends keystrokes to the PC that pull up your logon or identification dialog box. All individual keystrokes, detection range (1-5 ft.) and specified delays are user-definable.
pcProx represents the lowest cost solution since there is no drain on IT support resources, software maintenance contracts, and other IT security burdens!
Requires operating system support for USB port. Configuration software requires Windows 98, 2000, XP.

 | pcProx-Sonar Bracket An optional bracket for mounting the pcProx-Sonar is available. This allows adjustments to the angle. For most users the glue dots that are are included will do the job just fine. In some environments where more flexibility may be required, this bracket will prove useful.
