Connect industry standard Wiegand readers to a CASI® 8RP interface board in any Micro/5® Control Panel. One Wiegand/F2F Adapter is required per reader, typically to be installed near the door location. Proximity readers (or any other Wiegand output reader) combined with the adapter, provides end-to-end supervision of the data cable, meeting the original CASI® system specification. The Wiegand/F2F Adapter duplicates special functions provided by CASI® systems such as Request-to-Exit (REX), door switch status, and door strike output.
